- 2D and 3D modeling understanding
- Ability to understand and read functional design drawings and revisions.
- Shipbuilding/Maritime background
- Software (must haves)
- AutoCAD
- Ship-constructor.

- Electrical background working with cable and wire ways.
- Ability to problem solve for technical issues.
Background/Education
- Associate degree preferred (Engineering related degree)
Day to day:
- This person will be sitting on the electrical functional detail design group.
- They will be outfitting the electrical components.
- Receive engineering change notices and start working on them.
- Turn functional design drawings to create a detailed design drawing.
- Understand 2D layouts and turn those into 3D models.
- Pass these layouts and designs to the production team for them to start building the ships.
