Platinum Recovery is Hiring a Medical Biller Near Marietta, OH

Job Overview

Platinum Recovery is seeking an energetic individual to join our growing Medical Billing Team. The Medical Biller is responsible for managing patient accounts through the insurance billing process (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial insurance), following up post insurance payment, rebilling denials, and satisfying the self-pay portion of the remaining bill. This is accomplished through utilizing our state-of-the-art software, telephone system, and medical record-keeping systems for our clients.

Training

RCS offers 3 weeks of hands-on, paid training for all employees. For employees specializing in one area of our services, RCS offers supplemental eucational training and certification throught a partnership with the Washington County Career Center.

The Washington County Career Center is ranked #1 in the State of Ohio, and provides educational training and eventual certification to RCS employees at no extra cost, if the certification is completed.

Compensation

The Medical Billing Associate is provided hourly compensation, with a generous bonus incentive for performance relative to estblished performance metrics. Bonuses are paid out daily, bi-monthly, and monthly depending upon the bonus item, and average $300 per month per employee.

Schedule

Full time schedule Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Employees are permitted to leave early on Fridays, if weekly performance standards are achieved. The training schedule follows regular working hours.

  • Additional Education is preferred
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, specifically medical billing and/or coding
  • Communication skills including critical listening skills
