Kdc/one Northern Labs is Hiring a Customer Relations Specialist Near Manitowoc, WI

POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsible for entering customer orders and informing all departments that need to know of special requirements to ensure the customer’s needs are satisfied on a timely basis.
EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associates Degree.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Phone and email Etiquette.
  • Ability to read and follow written procedures.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Proven Customer Support Experience.
  • Strong Phone and email handling skills with ability to respond to different types of character.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of SAP a plus.
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
None
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform order processing, editing and data input functions.
2. Maintain and update customer files and pricing.
3. Effectively communicate with customers, sales, distribution and production planning to ensure customer needs are met in a timely manner.
4. Verify the customer deductions, invoicing and credits are issued correctly.
5. Follow up with customers on any past due invoice issues.
6. Maintain PO Acknowledgments on a daily basis.
7. EDI processing daily.
8. Billing processing daily.
9. Ability to train individuals in Order Entry.
MARGINAL JOB DUTIES:
  • Perform other duties as required and requested by supervisor.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Stand; walk; reach above shoulders; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl up to 1/3 of the time.
  • Sit, use hands to finger, handle or touch; and talk or hear 2/3 and more of the time.
  • Up to 10 pounds weight to be lifted or force to be exerted up to 1/3 of the time.
  • Filing in four-drawer file cabinets requires occasional standing, stooping and reaching slightly over shoulder height.
  • Loading and removing invoices requires stooping.
  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
TOOLS/EQUIPMENT USED:
  • Various office equipment 2/3 and more of the time: computers, calculators, fax, copier, telephone, etc.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PPE REQUIRED:
  • Normal office environment noise level.
