Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and cosmetic patient-oriented coordinator to join our team. As a Patient Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our cosmetic patients and assisting them with their needs. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication plus organization skills; aesthetic procedures and skincare products knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced multi-location dermatology/plastic surgery pratice.
Duties:
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting cosmetic patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Providing patients with quotes of cosmetic treatment(s) recommended by physicians
- Assist patients with their purchasing decisions and provide guidance based on their needs and financial abilities
- Coordinate and schedule consultations and/or procedures with providers and surgery center
- Collect deposit, balance, and process sales transactions accurately using our EMR and payment portal
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Stay up-to-date on medical aesthetic knowledge and industry trends to effectively answer patient inquiries
- Handle patient complaints or concerns with patience and empathy, striving for resolution
Skills:
- at least one year of dermatology and plastic surgery experience
- Front desk, retail or medical spa sales experience preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in operating EMR and point-of-sale systems
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients
- Basic understanding of retail math
