We are looking for a Major Gifts Officer to join our Easterseals NH team! The individual in this key position will work collaboratively with the executive team, board members, senior leadership, staff and volunteers to raise funds for the organization through major gifts. Responsibilities include:Work with development team, as well as members of the board, to enhance relationships and secure major gifts ranging from $10k to $1M for the three strategic objectives as well as all programs across the organization. Function as an ambassador for the organization, with a focus on a segment of Easterseals NH clientele. With deep knowledge of best practices of relationship-based fundraising, the MGO will identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward current and prospective top donors in sustaining and expanding their financial support of Easterseals NH.Work alongside CDO and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to develop and implement a multi-channel approach to major giving, including materials for person asks, as well as impact pieces and other collateral that can be mailed or emailed in stewardship. Develop individual engagement strategies for prospects as well as current donors. Assist in creating and executing a comprehensive stewardship program that will align with Easterseals NH’s overall stewardship efforts. Assist in business planning, as well as strategic plan execution, along with implementation in conjunction with the CDO and the development staff.Provide regular reporting on fundraising progress in line with stated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Represent Easterseals NH at business and community events/meetings/functions as outline in the community engagement plan. Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree Minimum three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in fundraising and/or developmentUnderstanding/knowledge of fundraising best practicesComputer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Office, CRMs Available for occasional evenings, and weekend schedule and periodic overnight travelAbility to work independently and within a team enviroment, prioritizing one’s workload. Excellent listening, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. An eye for detail and accuracyAbility to maintain confidentiality a must. Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects during peak giving periods.
