VENTEON Finance is hiring an ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ANALYST to provide support in Madison Heights, MI. You will support the analysis and reconciliation of open accounts receivable invoices to determine the correctness of the original invoice and act to either correct the account balance or work with the distributor to manage AR collections based on findings.

POSITION TYPE: Full Time, direct hire position.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Hybrid after training. (Every other week in office TUES, WEDS and THURS)

PAY: $ 60,000 to $75,000 annually plus benefits package depending on your education and skill level.

Requirements of the Accounts Receivable Analyst:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is strongly preferred. Understanding of GAAP required. Ability to reconcile AR balances for month end closing.
• 5 years of directly relevant Accounts Receivable experience that includes reconciling account balances and successfully collecting past dues.
• Strongcapability with financial analysis including working with high volumes of data and reports to quickly determine what needs addressing and the best method to do so.
• Prior experience navigating web portals to enter and gain AR information.
• Experience with ERP systems is required. SAP skills are highly desired. Sage skills are a major plus.
• Strong experience with Excel (Pivot tables, Lookups, Index, etc.) is required.
• Trade Management System (promotional discounts system ) knowledge highly desirable. Knowledge of “Vividly” Trade Spend Management Solution is a huge benefit.
• Prior experience with CPG (Consumer Packages Goods) is desired, not required.

Duties of the Accounts Receivable Analyst:

• Produce data and reports on open invoices status.
• Research and resolve a high volume of client short or missing payments. Review promotional discounts system to ensure applicable discounts were applied during the invoice generation process, and that the pricing and quantity invoiced was correct.
• Ensure any shipping claims were resolved by providing proof of delivery, monitor whether improper rebates were taken, freight costs invoiced were accurate, and product returns were credited, among other things that lead to barriers in payment.
• Use customer web portal systems daily to access invoice payment status, enter corrected invoices, and pull payment remittances.
• Collaborate with Sales to ensure planned volume and spending is accurately represented in the Vividly promotional discounts system.
• Develop improved procedures and maintain the deduction dispute process.
• Support timely and accurate data entry and maintenance of trade promotions in Vividly.
• Develop a reporting toolkit/scorecard for the assessment of trade KPIs.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for trade GL Accounts.
• Manage outsourced resources assisting with validating trade deductions.
• Build and maintain solid business relationships with internal and external partners.
