Algoscool is a coding school for kids. It is run by parents who are professional software engineers and researchers. We strive for the highest quality to teach computer coding to school students. We offer a low student to teacher ratio so that each student gets the attention they deserve to be successful at Algoscool and beyond.
Responsibilities
As a teacher, you will teach computer programming i.e. coding to elementary students at a physical location. For teachers, we provide required training, proven curriculum, and course materials to follow for each coding class. As a coding teacher, you will be responsible for delivering our coding lessons and supporting hands-on fun learning coding activities. There would be plenty of growth opportunities in future as an area supervisor.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Familiarity with coding languages and platforms
- Classroom teaching experience will be a huge advantage
- Strong communication and teaching abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus
- Pass the background check as per school districts requirement
Pay: $20 - $25 per hour, depending upon experience
Transportation Reimbursement: $1 per mile over 7 miles one way; Max $10/day
Job Types: Part-time (1 to 2 hours a day), Contract
Work Location: Madison, AL
Work Setting: In-person
Work Hours : Monday-Friday, 2pm-4pm
