Lake Norman Regional Medical Center is Hiring a Mammography Technologist Near MOORESVILLE, NC

$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS

As a Mammography Tech, you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. Our Staff enjoys a robust benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), flexible scheduling, 100% licensure/certification reimbursement, Tuition Reimbursement, and up to $10K for student loan payments. 

Requirements: 

  • One to two years’ hospital experience in radiology preferred but not required
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with advanced registration in Mammography (M)
  • BLS Certification required

About the Job:

  • Operates X-ray equipment and performs various mammography related procedures.
  • Develops and evaluates the film for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion.
  • Explains procedures and educates women about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health. Responsibilities also include preparing and maintaining records and files, and cleaning and adjusting equipment as needed.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager.
