The Reliability Technician will follow established procedures and guidelines to tear down, inspect, and perform minor repairs on equipment. This position will also assist the Reliability Engineer with testing for failure analysis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Prepare equipment for dismantle
• Inspect equipment prior to dismantle
• Perform dismantle of equipment
• Operating hand-held electrical testing equipment during dismantle
• Operation of forklift for equipment relocation
• Identify failure components during dismantles and document the findings
• Update inventory records of dismantled and failed equipment
• Sufficient housekeeping and cleanliness required daily

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 1-year experience in manufacturing (preferably Oil & Gas) with a strong preference for dismantle experience is required. Dismantle inspection failure analysis (DIFA) experience including previous experience generating failure reports is preferred.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

• Ability to use a camera and possess an understanding of SD cards.

• Working knowledge of proper use of hand tools
• Attention to detail is required
