General Summary of Position:
The Human Resources Assistant (temporary) reports directly to the Assistant to the AVC, HR/Office Manager. The position coordinates the flow of incoming visitors by determining the nature of service, resolution of general inquiries or referring to the appropriate staff member. Assists with verification of hiring paperwork (including I9's), benefit information and provides phone, email and mail support. Will work on review and scanning of documents into system and other projects.

This is a temporary, non-unit, non-benefited position. This position will be up to full-time hours for the summer, with the possibility of extending through the Fall. Otherwise, a part-time schedule in the fall is anticipated
