Graphic Designer Needed!

The Graphic Designer creates visually engaging designs that communicate our brand message effectively across various platforms, including digital and print media. The Graphic Designer collaborates with the marketing team and key stakeholders to develop creative concepts and execute designs for a wide range of projects, ensuring consistency and quality.

Graphic Designer Essential Functions

  • Visual Communication: Creating visual concepts that communicate ideas to inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. Experience needed working through print processing, ability to work in four color and spot color production of materials.
  • Design Software Proficiency: Proficiency in design software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) or other graphic design tools or software i.e. WordPress knowledge, Mailchimp, and Menu design.
  • Creative Thinking: Generating fresh ideas and concepts that meet the objectives of the business.
  • Brand Identity Development: Creating and maintaining brand identity through consistent design elements across various platforms and materials.
  • Project Management: Managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.

Graphic Designer Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Software Proficiency – Demonstrated expertise in Adobe Create Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other industry standard design software such as WordPress knowledge, Mailchimp, and Menu design.
  • Typography and Layout Skills – Ability to create visually appealing layouts and effectively use typo to communicate ideas.
  • Attention to Details – Consistently produces error-free designs and pays close attention to detail in all aspects of design work.
  • Time Management - Consistently meets project deadlines and effectively manages time to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving – Demonstrated ability to identify design problems and develop creative solutions to address them.
  • Adaptability and Learning Agility – Willingness to learn new design techniques, software, and adapt to changing design trends and technologies.

Education and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field of study. A strong portfolio showcasing design projects and demonstrated creativity, technical skills, and an understanding of design principles.
  • Experience: 3-5 years

  • Working in an office environment; sitting for long periods of time
  • Extended computer use
