Position Summary: The Social Media Content Coordinator helps drive Marketing strategy and initiatives by creating engaging content across multiple social media platforms, connecting the organization’s mission with the community, donors, volunteers, and staff. Position Duties & Responsibilities: Social Media Strategy Serves as a key member of the Marketing Team to develop a social media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads. Analyzes performance metrics and prepares regular reports to track key metrics, measure ROI, and identify areas for improvement. Stays up-to-date with changes in social media algorithms and platform policies and adjusts strategies accordingly. Crafting Compelling Content Collaborates with our marketing and design teams to create authentic and emotionally resonant content for our social media channels. Develops stories highlighting the impact of our services, the journeys of our patients and families, and the compassion of our team. Social Media Coordination Keeps social media pages information up to date with accurate information.Plans and schedules content across all social media platforms, ensuring that each post has a call-to-action. Monitors social media channels for trends, engagement, and opportunities to share meaningful stories. Creates posts that blend informative updates with heartfelt storytelling. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, to ensure alignment of content with brand messaging and marketing campaigns. Visual Storytelling: Collaborates with our graphic designer to match visual content with our printed materials to complement our narratives.Uses images, videos, and infographics to convey powerful stories. Community Building: Engages with our followers, responds to comments, and fosters a sense of community to amplify brand reach. Engages with brand advocates and followers to foster relationships and invite them to share their stories. Position Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, Word, OneDrive, Teams).Experience with Canva preferred.Ability to work within a project management system for tasks.Expertise in multiple social media platforms.Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video).Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively.Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate, and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality. Able to work well under pressure and within stated deadlines.
