Peace Hospital, part of UofL Health, is a private, non-profit behavioral health hospital. One of the largest behavioral health facilities in the nation, Peace Hospital is known for providing care for children, adolescents, adults and senior adults, age 55 and older.
Its Kosair Charities Childrens Peace Center is the largest and most comprehensive private provider of youth inpatient behavioral health services in the country. The hospital was the nations first behavioral health care center to open a retail pharmacist operated, long-acting injection clinic. The clinic was established to help people adhere to prescribed medications for behavioral health conditions, such as substance use and psychotic disorders.

Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Manager will have responsibility for the overall operations of the nursing unit to include financial performance, service quality, clinical outcomes, quality improvement, employee satisfaction, and patient satisfaction. The Clinical Manager of the Nursing Department will have direct reporting responsibility to a designated Nursing Director.

EDUCATION & TRAINING: Bachelors degree in Nursing required. Masters Degree in a Nursing Specialty or Nursing Administration strongly preferred. Other Masters degrees, such as business or healthcare administration will be considered.
EXPERIENCE: Internal Candidates: At least four (4) years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably an academic medical center. Prior management experience a plus. External candidates: At least five (5) years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably an academic medical center. Prior management experience a plus.
LICENSE & CERTIFICATION: Kentucky RN License required. Professional certification in either a leadership or clinical specialty area strongly recommended. . If certification not present on hire, it is to be obtained within 3 years of hire into position.
