Design Engineer

What will I really be doing?
Youll be a master of multitasking. This involves lots of data analysis and a talent for troubleshooting. You know the devil is in the details, and youre a stickler for documenting all the minutiae that comes with validation testing. Youll drive modifications throughout the life cycle of existing products. Youre comfortable with collaboration, and working across departments to get things done. In particular, youll team up with our manufacturing division to identify and resolve the root causes of manufacturing and quality-related problems with existing products.
What kind of experience is required?
You need at least a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field, and at least two years of professional experience. A fundamental understanding of electrical, mechanical, and process engineering is important. And you have a track record of getting things done and done right.
Are there any other necessary qualities?
Naturally, we're looking for the qualities that make anyone a good team member. Youre comfortable working alone and as a team. You enjoy challenging yourself to meet or exceed goals. Youre a good communicator, both verbally and in writing. And you put customers first (both external and internal).
Were a bit unconventional, so a good sense of humor is a definite plus.
