**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. Hours are Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30-4:30 PM. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care in a dental office setting.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures

- Take and record patients' vital signs

- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment

- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures

- Maintain accurate patient records

- Perform dental receptionist duties when needed

- Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling and record-keeping

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or relevant role

- Knowledge of medical coding and terminology

- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols

- Ability to take medical imaging (X-rays)

- Proficiency in assisting with various dental procedures

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Nice-to-have Skills:

- Experience with medical records management

- Previous work as a dental receptionist

- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 27 per week
