GEM Technologies, Inc. (GEM) is seeking a Desktop Support Professional to join our team at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM, which provides integral mission support to the NNSA. This position is full-time and will serve the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM.
Requirements:- High School Degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Windows 10, Linux Powershell and automation
- To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.
- Due to the nature of the work, a U.S. Citizenship is required.
Uncleared - Must be able to obtain and maintain a Clearance
Overview:
- Build desktop systems using a locally develop operating system distribution, provide daily desktop support to customers for routine computing issues, patch windows systems.
- Build desktop systems using a locally developed distribution, provide daily desktop support to customers for routine computing issues, patch and upgrade linux systems.
- Manage and update windows servers.
- Support router patching and maintenance, monitor network performance, provide solutions where needed to help improve network performance.
