Reports To: Chief Operating Officer
Job PurposeThe Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the Sublingual Immunotherapy (SLIT) department, from managing inventory and orders to providing excellent customer service. This role will also oversee the current operations and ongoing development of our patient-exclusive merchandise and food store: the FAI Store.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain a daily work timetable for both SLIT Coordinators and Senior SLIT Coordinators. This schedule will give precedence to the most pressing operational requirements of the SLIT Department, while also implementing a consistent rotation that ensures Coordinators gain exposure to all essential workstations.
- Set performance objectives for each team member and consistently assess their performance against these KPIs.
- Identify and prioritize key areas for process improvement, then implement optimal solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage the daily operations of the FAI Store, which includes replenishing inventory across multiple locations, setting service and process expectations for all support staff, and monitoring store profitability.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to ideate and implement fresh product lines for the FAI store, encompassing merchandise. FAI-branded food items, and potentially maintenance dosing products.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in order fulfillment, customer service, and/or operations management.
- Previous management experience in a similar role.
- Background in project management with demonstrated experience in coordinating cross-functional teams, managing complex projects, and allocating resources effectively.
- Experience in e-commerce, identifying opportunities for expanding product offerings and devising advertising strategies for growth.
- Proficiency in Shopify.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to walk between multiple office locations that include the use of stairs (elevator is only available in some instances).
This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
