Job Summary: Fair Winds Brewing Company is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Sales and Distribution Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with accounts, investigating and overseeing market trends and projections, and ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with top management, market representatives and distribution partners. This role covers the Northern Virginia, DC and Maryland markets and requires an enthusiastic and results-oriented individual who can effectively promote our brand and uphold our core values.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage market sales representatives

• Provide training, guidance, and support to market sales representatives to optimize their performance.
• Develop and implement sales strategies and objectives for market sales representatives.
• Regularly review and assess the performance of market sales representatives, providing feedback and addressing any areas for improvement.

Account Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing accounts.
• Act as the main point of contact for account inquiries and support.

Market Analysis:

• Investigate and oversee market trends and projections to identify opportunities for growth.
• Develop strategies based on market analysis to increase sales and distribution.

Distribution Partner Collaboration:

• Build and nurture strong relationships with distribution partners.
• Maintain open and effective communication with top management to align goals and expectations.
• Conduct quarterly meetings with distributors to introduce upcoming products, set expectations, and outline goals.

Brand Promotion:

• Schedule and manage market events to promote the Fair Winds Brewing Company brand.
• Represent the company as a brand ambassador at industry events and in the community.

Operational Coordination:

• Collaborate with the Brewery Operations Manager to ensure timely production and packaging of beers for distribution.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage the logistics of product distribution.

Qualifications
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience in logistics and transportation planning
- Proven track record in sales and account management
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles
- Familiarity with B2B sales and transportation management systems
- Ability to work with FDA regulations and pricing strategies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
