Accounting Now is Hiring a Tax Manager Near Longmont, CO
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Set deadlines and schedules for preparation and completion of tax returns for businesses and individuals (1040, 1120S, 1065, 990, 1120, etc.)
- Consult with clients to obtain deductible expenses, allowance, and taxable incomes and prepare estimated tax payments
- Contact local, state, and federal agencies for tax resolution
- Review financial and income statements, expenditure receipts, tax returns, etc.
- Assist with bookkeeping, payroll, and sales tax clients during the “off season”
- Expertise processing various taxes and expenditures for individuals and small businesses using QuickBooks
- Experienced with sales tax (preferred, not required)
- EA (Enrolled Agent) or CPA preferred, but not required
