Job Description

We are currently looking for a hard-working and motivated individual to join our team as a Dishwasher. The Dishwasher ensures a proper supply of clean dishware, utensils, and glassware for the dining room and cleans all cooking utensils, pots, and pans for the kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes, rinses, and loads dishes and utensils into dish machine
• Washes and sanitizes all pans, utensils, and dishes
• Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains dish machine
• Unloads dishes and utensils from dish machine and organizes them properly
• Empties trash containers regularly
• Maintains a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping as needed
• Performs additional cleaning duties as requested
• Cleans food prep stations and equipment
• May perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Restaurant or customer service experience preferred
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card
• Must be able to stand throughout an 8-hour shift
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be comfortable bending, climbing, reaching, stooping, and moving quickly
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must have a working knowledge of sanitation procedures
• Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
• Must be able to pass physical exam, drug test, and background check
