The HR Generalist is responsible for coordinating and implementing all HR activities within the plant. This position reports to the Vice President/General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain all appropriate personnel records
• Manage recruitment and onboarding process
• Administer all group benefit plans
• Administer all employee training/education programs
• Ensure compliance with state, federal and OSHA regulations
• Develop, implement, and maintain company policies and procedures, including Employee Handbook
• Report and coordinate all workers compensation claims
• Address employee issues and conduct workplace investigations
• Maintain and coordinate performance appraisals
• Coordinate and lead Safety Committee
• Coordinate special events and programs
• Administrate and prepare exempt and non-exempt payroll

Skills Required:

• Excellent communication, project management and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organization skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree preferred
• 2 years of experience in an equivalent position
• Knowledge and efficiency in the use of MS Office
