Centercare Urgent Care is looking to hire a Medical Assistant for our location in Locust Grove. Address:4207 Germanna Hwy, Suite E, Locust Grove, VA 22508 Some of your duties and responsibilities will be: Gathering personal information and medical histories, scheduling and checking patients, taking vital signs, give IM Injections, administering immunization, assisting the physician/NP during exams, performing Covid-19 swabs and testing for patients. Requirements: Previous experience as a Medical Assistant/Receptionist, ability to use computers to enter information, excellent communication skills, ability to serve various age group (children & adults), have no work restrictions and able to work every other weekend, have BLS certification. Hours: We are open 7 days a week. We open the door at 8am Mon-Fri, and at 9am on Saturdays and Sundays. Staff are required to be at the practice 30min prior to the opening time. Office Hours: M-F ( 8am to 7pm), Sat and Sun ( 9am to 5pm) . Staff Schedule: 3 days alternate with 4 days ( 4 days is when you work weekend).Do NOT apply if you are CANNOT work EVERY OTHER WEEKEND-- Offering Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour. Benefits: Dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, retirement plan, vision insurance. Education:High school or equivalent (Required).
