Position: Corporate Controller
Location: Livingston, NJ
Salary: $135k – 160k Bonus
Successful Law Firm is seeking a Controller to lead their team!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all aspects of Accounting and Financial daily operations
- Monitor bank activities and reconcile cash
- Prepare all Financial Statements including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flow
- Manage the monthly and yearly close process
- Record all monthly journal entries and manage the General Ledger
- Work with outside Auditors
- Prepare annual Budget
- Prepare actual to budgets, variance analysis and cash flow analysis
- Manage partner draws, distributions, and retirement plan contributions
- Assure corporate income tax compliance
- Manage pension plans, responsible for annual pension audit and Form 5500
- Work with partners and clients on aged unpaid bills and cash receipts applications
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required; accounting degree preferred
8 years of experience
CPA preferred
Law Firm Industry a must
