Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Climbing Arborist to join our family-owned, employee-centric team. As an Arborist, you will be responsible for the care and maintenance of trees and shrubs to ensure their health and safety.

Duties:

- Perform tree identification and industry standard pruning and removal guidelines
- Conduct tree risk & disease assessments
- Properly maintain all tools & equipment including: chainsaws, climbing gear, and vehicles according to company standards.

- Confidently & safely operate aerial lifts, skid steer, stump grinder and other heavy equipment
- Utilize rigging techniques and be familiar with crane work for safe tree removals
- Provide recommendations for tree care and maintenance
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care

Requirements:

- Valid and clean driving record is a must.

- Experience in tree care and maintenance
- Proficiency in aerial lift operations for elevated work
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices
- Ability to perform tree trimming using proper techniques
- Strong understanding of rigging methods for tree removals

Preferred Skills:

- Experience or willingness to cross train on landscape projects, snow removal, lawn care services (not mowing), and irrigation repair / installation.
- Experience in growing and nurturing trees and a background in garden care / maintenance helpful.

Pay: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
