About Your RoleThis position will support all facets of the employee experience including recruiting, onboarding, engagement, learning and development and policy and program development. This role will work on organization wide projects such as manager training, employee engagement, the onboarding experience, and career development programs. This role will develop partnership across the support teams to deliver value-added HR programs to management and employees. The HR Business Partner is required to maintain an effective level of business literacy to effectively partner with the organization.
Essential Duties And Major Responsibilities
  • Be a role model and an advocate of change, building organizational trust and promoting a positive workplace culture, partnering, and communicating with leadership on trends. Develop relationships across the organization to strengthen HR involvement.
    • Consult with business leaders on a wide array of people-topics and provide guidance as appropriate.
  • Identify trends and themes across the company and recommend modifications to existing HR programs and processes or, in some cases, the creation of new ones.
    • Analyze and use data to guide decisions, in addition to what you know from being embedded within the team.
    • Lead the process and execution for Employee Engagement, Onboarding and Exit surveys.
  • Organize and execute employee engagement events, activities and rewards and recognition programs to create a highly engaged and inclusive culture.
  • Support the employment process for the company including working with hiring managers to communicate and implement appropriate recruiting and selection strategies, ensuring that compensation is appropriate, and ensuring best practices are in place in the hiring process.

  • In partnership with HR leadership, address and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
    • Handle employee relations issues including working with managers to identify performance issues and developing and implementing appropriate measures to provide employees the opportunity to succeed and taking corrective action where necessary.
  • Create and implement a communications strategy for HR.
    • consistently manage and update content across multichannel communication platforms to drive traffic and drive efficiency.
    • Maintain intranet (ADP WorkforceNow) ensuring information is engaging, up to date, informative and timely.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements.
  • Perform special HR organization-wide projects such as new hire onboarding, employee engagement, retention strategies, learning and development, wellness, compensation and talent acquisition.
  • Monitor Human Resources general email daily and respond to inquiries and requests. Escalates issues to Management when necessary.
Type Of Experience Needed To Be Successful
  • Certification as PHR/SHRM-CP/SPHR/SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • 5 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Ability to prioritize and work. A high degree of organizational and time management skills; able to west and manage expectations and competing priorities.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Ability to interpret laws and policies to support the department in making appropriate hiring decisions.
  • Committed to bringing new and innovative approaches to enhance the employee experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, ADP WorkforceNow a plus. Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to negotiate and/or mediate when required.
  • Ability to analyze data and propose methods for continuous improvement.
