SUMMARY
This newly created Facility Manager position is responsible for all aspects of this 120,000 sq foot, multi-client omni-channel distribution center. Duties include but are not limited to client relations, driving KPI metrics, profit and loss budgeting, and employee engagement.
Role you will play:
• Oversee, manage, and influence distribution center operations
• P&L responsibility including labor, equipment, transportation, supplies, etc.
• Warehouse Management System optimization and coaching
• Create, implement, and drive standard operating procedures
• Conduct regular meetings with the clients within the distribution center to review performance, metrics, and forecasting future needs.
• Manage a team of salaried and hourly operations leaders.
• Oversee all operations and client needs that are required to sustain and effective B2B and D2C operations.
• Oversee the launch of new distribution centers
• Create a proactive action plan for associates that focus on career development, retention, and progress.
• Responsible for leading contract negotiations with current clients and vendors.
• Safety first mindset
• Interact in a positive manner will all functional positions within the organization including human resources, accounting, information technology, industrial engineering, and other key stakeholders.
Background Profile:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 10 years managing distribution center operations.
• Prior experience with WMS systems such as Red Prairie, SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Scale, High Jump, etc.
• interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Have the ability to develop and promote collaborative relationships with employees and clients
