U-neek Events is dedicated to providing high-quality and immaculate event rentals to the Lincoln, NE area.
We started U-neek Events in 2017 so we could have more time together as a family. Initially, the company focused on bounce house rentals, but in 2020, we transitioned into a tent rental company, utilizing the products of our sister company, Shade Tree Tents. Recognizing the demand for event rentals in the Lincoln area, we have continuously expanded our inventory to cater to the community's growing needs. U-neek Events is committed to delivering exceptional service and ensuring that your celebrations are unique and unforgettable. Because of our commitment to our clients we also had the opportunity to expand and open a 2nd location in Lawrence, Kansas. We are very flexible and offer several opportunities for growth and learning. We value individuals who desire to tap into their full potential, discover possibilities, and gain more skills.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
▪ Assist with managing daily event rental reservations. Send emails, make, and answer phone calls, and utilize different computer programs. Prioritize inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts; make judgements and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements.
▪ Create and understand how to operate documents and programs in Microsoft Office, Reservation System, and Google Drive.
▪ Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks, including but not limited to assisting with special projects; updating websites; composing and preparing correspondence with clients and potential vendors.
▪ Assist with maintaining social media and email platforms and content.
▪ Maintain open communications with the team and providing information and documents as needed.
▪ Manage various aspects of the company’s office and event inventory.
▪ Invest in building long-lasting relationships both externally and internally.
▪ Other projects/duties as assigned for the overall benefit of company.
SKILLS NEEDED
▪ Self-start and strong ability to execute work.
▪ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; ability to learn various platforms we utilize for all online orders. Will offer training on all programs.
▪ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
▪ Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
▪ High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse individuals, including senior executives, community leaders, business owners, event, and non-profit professionals.
▪ Make appropriate, informed decisions regarding priorities and available time.
▪ Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance.
▪ Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
▪ Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
▪ Excellent judgment is essential.
▪ Ability to switch gears at a moment’s notice.

▪ The Company provides PTO, as a benefit, to full-time employees. PTO may be used for illness (for the employee or the employee’s immediate family), personal time, medical and dental appointments, and/or vacation.
▪ Paid Holidays
▪ Hourly Pay: $18.00-$22.00
▪ Monday – Friday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm with an occasional weekend hours during peak season, work week would be adjusted to accommodate the occasional weekend hours.
QUALIFICATIONS
▪ Education: Associate Degree desired or equivalent experience. We understand that most skills are learned and obtained on the job.
▪ Proficient in Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
▪ Bilingual (English and Spanish) is beneficial
▪ Ability to have a sense of humor, our team has a constant joking dynamic.
