Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Park Ranger. As a Park Ranger, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of park visitors. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a beautiful outdoor setting and make a positive impact on the community.
Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors, answering questions and providing information about park amenities, activities, and rules.
- Enforce park rules and regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of all visitors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the park grounds to monitor for any potential hazards or issues.
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of park facilities, including cleaning restrooms, emptying trash bins, and maintaining trails.
- Assist with the organization and execution of special events and programs within the park.
- Perform basic first aid and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Collaborate with other park staff to coordinate activities and ensure a positive visitor experience.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds.
- Knowledge of park operations, including food service, lifeguard duties, theater performances, guest services, resort management, or events management is a plus.
- Ability to handle conflict situations calmly and professionally.
- Experience working with children is desirable.
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license is required.
