Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Room Manager. As a Room Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel/resort. Your excellent customer service skills and ability to manage multiple tasks will contribute to the overall success of our establishment. Duties: - Perform night audit duties, including reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports - Provide exceptional customer service to guests, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally - Oversee guest services, ensuring that all guests have a pleasant and comfortable stay - Implement revenue management strategies to maximize room occupancy and revenue - Supervise and train staff members, ensuring they adhere to company policies and deliver exceptional service - Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and guest accounts - Handle phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette - Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations - Assist with human resources tasks, such as recruiting and training new employees - Contribute to the overall success of the hotel/resort by actively participating in meetings and providing input on improving operations Skills: - Strong background in hospitality or hotel management - Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction - Proficient in revenue management techniques to optimize room occupancy and revenue - Ability to supervise and motivate staff members effectively - Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills - Proficient in using hotel management software systems - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Join our team as a Room Manager and be part of an exciting hospitality environment.
