The Opportunity
We are actively seeking an Assembly Technician to join our growing Production Team in Lenexa, KS. We are looking for motivated and eager to learn employees to join our state of the art facility. You will be responsible for assembling electronic components and wire harnesses that will help farmers make crucial decisions. We are looking for soldering experience, but if you do not have it, we will train!
Hours of work: 6am-2:30pm. Workload may require overtime hours including weekend!
- Lift raw materials and completed assemblies to be moved.
- Operate machinery and production line equipment (training provided).
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
- Follow Job Orders to build required assemblies.
- Maintain a clean and efficient work area using 5S.
- Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.
- Follow health and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean workstation in line with our 5S principles.
- Assemble products and parts following work instructions and specifications.
- Meet production targets.
- Use screw guns and heat guns safely.
- Must wear required PPE.
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
