Under the direction of the child care manager and lead teacher, must be able to assist the lead teacher in providing a safe and age-appropriate classroom atmosphere. Also develops age-appropriate lesson plans and assists with developmental checklist.
Job Opening Qualifications
Education:
- Post-high school special training
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- CDA, 30 hours of childcare facility part 1 and 20 hours of childcare facility part 2. Can be found on the DCF training transcript.
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:
- Must be able to read, write in, speak and understand English.
Shift hours: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m., Monday-Friday
