G3 Boats in Lebanon, MO is looking for a Machine Operator. Machine Operator should be able to set-up, operate, and maintain machinery.

They are responsible for ensuring the machine produces high quality products, runs smoothly and at captivity, and is properly maintained.

Essential Job Functions : (responsibilities, duties, and standards of the position, including supervisory level and reporting relationship)

• Perform housekeeping on a daily basis to maintain a safe work environment.
• Set up and operate conventional, special purpose, and numeric control machines and machining centers to fabricate aluminum parts.
• Able to read blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces.
• Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth and angle of cut, degree of bends, calculate order in which process must follow.
• Starts and observes machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust controls or control media as required.
• Should be able to work with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.
• Must be able to make decisions as to the quality of the part as it completes each particular point of the process.

Qualifications and Skills : (in terms of experience, education & training)

• Observe all safety rules in performance of duties.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Should be able to read shop mathematics.
• Should be able to read blueprints.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 75 100 pounds.
• Capable of working in a loud environment.

Occasional Duties :

Cross train and assist in other areas of the fabrication department to help meet production.

• Ability to stand, sit or be in other physically demanding positions for long periods of time.
• Physical stamina and strength.
