TriCom Technical Services is Hiring a Supply Chain Buyer Near Leawood, KS
Responsibilities
- Track and monitor inventory, contract expiration, obsolescence, new, and current inventory.
- Maintain MRP database information.
- Monitor, document, and communicate supplier performance in the areas of quality, delivery, and cost.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Demand Planning, and vendors to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Solicit quotes for product development.
- Drive improvement projects and ideas to continue to eliminate waste throughout the supply chain.
- Negotiate year-over-year cost savings.
- Develop creative and innovative solutions.
- 2 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain management, and forecasting.
- Oracle Supply Chain module experience including Materials Resource Planning (MRP).
- Advanced Excel experience.
- Competency with word processing software, spreadsheet software, Internet software, and sales order processing/inventory/MRP/purchase order processing software, as well as a good understanding of accounting systems.
