Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Customer Specialist to join our growing business in the Equine Podiatry industry. (That's right, specialty therapeutic products made for horse's feet.) We want a resourceful person that is genuinely excited to help customers, troubleshoot and solve problems. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service and always go the extra mile.

Job Description:

Customer Service

  • Process Phone, Email & Online Orders
  • Email correspondence/ freight quotes for Domestic and International inquiries
  • Help clients choose appropriate product and inform the correct usage and applications
  • Process catalog requests
  • Gain Equine Podiatry product knowledge / terminology

Shipping

  • Enter invoices / Sales Receipts using Quickbooks software
  • Ship orders (Domestic & International) using UPS, USPS, FedEX, and DHL software

Inventory

  • Manage inventory; perform purchasing, receiving and stock maintenance to ensure par levels and consistent product availability
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, utilizing QuickBooks software
  • Execute strict daily quality control measures on outbound stock and incoming inventory

Marketing

  • Maintain website - add / update products
  • Create brochures for lectures
  • Assist in Catalog design
  • E-newsletters and social media
  • Update customer database / mailing list
  • Event planning and management for trade shows, educational clinics, and symposiums including marketing, registrations, reservations, set up, logistics, and student/client care

Operations

  • Maintain a clean and healthy work environment
  • Aid in in-house manufacturing and production of the businesses core products
  • Manage business in absence of Director

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Quickbooks, Adobe Photoshop, Word, Excel, Outlook preferred
  • Post High School Education
  • Able to lift up to 75 pounds

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
