The City of Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is looking for Martial Arts Instructors to join our Recreation team!
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older. Looking for an enthusiastic Martial Arts Instructor who can guide students and, encourage personal discipline and self-respect. Provide instruction regarding technique along with fostering discipline and respect within the classroom. Supervise lessons to ensure that learners interact in a supportive and respectful manner. Capacity to supervise group activities and prior experience working with children. Preference for CPR and First Aid certified or willingness to be certified. Work schedule will vary depending on enrollment numbers.
Resume submission is optional, but highly encouraged. Successful candidates must pass a background check.
