The Position
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training.
- This position is based at Southern Desert Correctional Center in Indian Springs, NV. The incumbent is responsible for management of various operational systems;
- checks systems, monitor and / or adjust a computerized energy management system; adjusts combustion and safety controls;
adjust pressure and temperature gauges; take water samples and analyze chemical properties of feed water; prevent water deposits and sludge build-up.
Preventative maintenance lubricates motors and fans; replace drive belts; clean equipment and surrounding areas to promote safety and efficiency;
