Ensure the safety and security in the venue where it is inevitable to have occasional troubles and related accidents. Adherence to laws and legal procedures in order to maintain the reputation of the establishment. Comply with rules such as prohibiting minors from drinking or even to stop illegal practices from taking place. Assist Management in creating an environment that is friendly, engaging, safe for guests and Team Members.
Deal with Customers/Guests and ensuring orderliness inside the establishment by using good interpersonal skills and a sense of sensitivity. Ability to interact well and to implement rules without being too abusive or passive. Need to be firm in decisions and word in order to be followed by the different individuals coming from different backgrounds and varying age groups.
Qualifications
· Must be least 21 years of age.
· Previous experience in Security or Security Host in a Night Club/Bar or large event venue environment.
· Must be able to deal with Guests/Customers and ensuring orderliness inside the establishment.
· Must possess good interpersonal skills and a sense of sensitivity.
· Ability to interact well and to implement rules without being too abusive or passive.
· Need to have that firm decision and word in order to be followed by the different individuals coming from different backgrounds and varying age groups.
· Must also be physically fit (reach, bend, stoop, lift, stand, etc) to be able to complete long hours at night or the required time shift to be finished.
· Must be flexible on time, especially on holidays and weekends depending on schedule.
· Must possess a valid Alcohol Awareness Card (TAM, ACT, or other qualifying card).
· Must possess a valid Sheriff’s Card issued by the LVMPD Fingerprint Bureau.
· Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Work primarily inside of the location.
· Patrol parking lots and property premises.
· Monitor Customers/Guests behavior and level of intoxication.
· Enforce Location rules often with early warnings.
· Remove obnoxious and offensive Guests/Customers.
· Exhibit professional behavior when asking Customers/Guests to leave.
· Maintain a list of banned Customers/Guests who like to fight.
· Call the police to enforce criminal acts, as required.
· Protect Company’s assets by monitoring activity of both Guests and Team Members.
· Monitor activities of potential violations of Company’s policies and procedures by All Team Members (cash handling, theft, inappropriate behavior)
· Work the door and talk to people.
· Check and verify all Guests/Customers ID for legal age entrance in location.
· Be able to see false identification
· Talk to unruly Guests/Customers and possibly communicate with police if an altercation happens.
· Need to be able to determine what to do quickly before a situation gets out of control.
· Need to be on the lookout for trouble and generally be aware of surroundings.
· If a physical altercation happens, need to be able to break up fights and ask person to leave from the building or detain them until the police can arrive.
· Ensure that every person who will enter the establishment will not cause any related harm or damages.
· Monitor every Guest/Customer coming inside the Location.
· Monitor the crowd behavior and also see if the inside of the Location is already overcrowded or not.
· Stop any disturbances and trouble.
· Responsible in serving as a link between the Location and law enforcement officials.
· Makes sure that the operations run in an orderly and secure manner.
· Provide reports to management regarding important accidents or problems that need attention and necessary actions.
· Complete all necessary documents regarding incidents, accidents both for Guests/Customers and Team Members.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
· Follow all guidelines established by the Southern Nevada Health District and building and Fire guidelines.
