Medical Assistant needed at a Weight Loss Clinic in our Laredo location. We need a reliable, hardworking and excellent dependable individual with a "CAN DO" attitude to join our team immediately. Phenomenal Customer Service is a must.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Performs responsibilities in a manner that promotes quality patient care and customer service/satisfaction

- Effectively participates in planning and preparing for patient visits ensuring appropriate schedules, test results, and clinic specific requirements are available

- Prepares for and assists with routine and specialty procedures

- Prepares and stocks rooms (daily/weekly) and clinic supplies in advance of clinic visit as well as cleaning rooms appropriately between patients.

- Respects and maintains privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines

- Answering Phone Calls.

- Checking Patients In/Out

- Proficient with Microsoft office.

- Sending Diagnostic Referrals & authorizations.

- Minimum of 1 year hands on experience required (No Exceptions).

- Must have experience with subcutaneous and IM injections.

- IV injections experience is a plus but not required.

- Performs other duties as assigned

- Compensation is based on experience.
