Pier W, Cleveland's premier dining destination is looking for an experienced, professional General Manager.

The ideal candidate will be a friendly, hardworking team player with solid management experience at quality restaurants. At least five years of experience preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry, including experience in banquet, bartending, kitchen management, and food service management.

The General Manager is responsible for the operation of the entire restaurant. Primary duties include employee managing, hiring, firing, and promotion; overseeing the Service and Culinary department heads and execution of high-quality food and service on a daily basis, and achieving the budgeted sales and profit plan of the restaurant, which includes increasing sales and guest counts and achieving all budgeted cost areas.

Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day operations of the establishment
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant including front-of-house, back-of-house, and administrative duties
- Train, supervise, and motivate staff to provide exceptional service
- Handle cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries
- Implement strategies to meet revenue and profitability goals
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to promote loyalty and repeat business

Requirements:

- Proven experience in a General Manager or similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, Open table, Word and Excel
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training staff
- Previous experience in shift management and catering is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
