is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Body Shop Technician.

This is a full-time, commission only position in the vibrant auto industry.

This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining our high standards of quality workmanship.

This position is located in the beautiful town of LAKE CITY, Iowa.

Compensation & Benefits :

The compensation for this position is $45,000 to $90,000 per year, paid biweekly based on commission.

In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, holiday pay and a gas allowance.

Responsibilities :

• Evaluate and diagnose vehicle damage, including body, frame, and paint work
• Repair and replace damaged vehicle parts, such as fenders, doors, panels, and windows
• Utilize appropriate tools and techniques to straighten and align damaged vehicle frames
• Perform body filler, sanding, and priming tasks to prepare vehicles for painting
• Mix and match paint to accurately match the original vehicle color
• Paint vehicles using proper techniques and application methods
• Inspect and test all repairs for completeness and quality
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of repairs
• Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and techniques
• Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as necessary

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years experience in auto body repair or painting
• Ability to read and interpret repair estimates and instructions
• Must possess own tools and have knowledge of proper tool usage
• Excellent understanding of body and paint techniques
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
