This role is ideal for an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant to use and expand their skills and knowledge in many settings, or for a new grad to practice and learn in different settings from our experienced staff.
A little about Stewart Memorial Community Hospital –
SMCH is a 25 bed Critical Access Non-Profit Hospital in Lake City, Iowa. We recently completed 32 million dollars in renovations to our organization as part of our Putting Patients First Campaign. We also operate four outlying clinics in surrounding communities. Our organization has over 250 employees who enjoy and take pride in the rewarding work they do. What it is like to work here –
You will assist, implement, and provide care for patients under the supervision of a physical therapist in a variety of areas including outpatient orthopedics, outpatient neurology, pediatrics, sports medicine and inpatient services. This is an excellent opportunity to use a wide variety of therapy skills, or a chance to develop skills in outpatient and inpatient therapy. You will enjoy working in our new, state of the art, 7000 square foot rehab space in Lake City. You will be supported in your role by a team of experienced therapists and staff. Your ideas and perspectives will always be valued as we work everyday to make our organization the best place for you to work and the best place for our patients to receive their care.
