JOB SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE

This position will be an overall deposit specialist. You will be required to learn all functional areas of deposits and be able to provide support and assistance on questions and issues as needed. You will be an administrator for core banking on the deposit side and our deposit platform system and be required to make changes as needed including but not limited to adding new products and changing product functionality. This job function may vary daily as you provide support and backup support for the department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

This position performs the following duties, including but not limited to:

• Working with ACH, NSF, Non Post items and Wire Transfers.
• Working with DDA, Savings and Certificates of Deposit products.
• Working with internet banking products and services.
• Working with customer inquiries.
• Working with the Escheat Accounts/Safe Deposit Boxes.
• Ability to assist other employees as needed.
• Research and correct errors.
• New Account Exceptions.

• May assist in other areas of Deposit Operations, as needed.

• Performs any additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years financial institution experience working with deposit products.
• Ability to work in a mission critical environment.
• General knowledge of banking products with an emphasis on deposit products and functionality.
• General knowledge of departmental operations, policies and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and ability to move easily between tasks as needed.
• Good organizational, time management and verbal and written communication skills.
• Good understanding of operations in other departments.
• Proficient in use of all Microsoft Office software.
