Job Description:
- Plans, coordinates, and team-teaches the instruction program according to the adopted curriculum for a 4th grade-level classroom while the permanent teacher is on leave
Minimum Qualifications:
- Preferred prior experience in schools or child care
- Displays positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Ability to work as a team with other staff
- Displays dependability and punctuality
- Displays excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Valid Indiana Elementary Teacher’s License (K-6)
Application Requirements:
- Cover Letter
- Resume
- Copy of valid Indiana Elementary Teacher’s License (K-6) or letter of impending licensure from a university
- Official university transcripts
- Copy of Praxis scores (if applicable)
- Acceptable results of an expanded criminal history background check done at the cost of the applicant
- Three professional letters of recommendation
- Any additional training certificates
- Any sample performance evaluations
Salary & Benefits:
- Based upon education and experience on the WLCSC teacher compensation model
