Essential Responsibilities
- Design and test machinery based on an understanding of the customer's desired manufacturing process and specifications.
- Create layout drawings for customer approval.
- Create detailed drawings, assembly drawings, and bills of material.
- Communicate with customers throughout the design process, and provide support after implementation.
- Manage project data to ensure designs are properly organized and archived.
- Utilize standard components when possible and update the CAD parts library
- Create training materials such as manuals and videos.
- Support production during the build process.
- Ensure the machine meets customer requirements through testing and validation.

- Prior experience designing mechanical systems.
- CAD software proficiency (SolidWorks preferred)
