Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in sterilization and dentists in providing care to patients and help deliver quality dental services.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as or Dentrix
- Provide patients with post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist
- Perform various office tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices

Requirements:

- Certification or diploma from an accredited Dental Assistant program
- X-Ray certification
- Proficiency in using dental software like Epic, or Dentrix
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical coding
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
