Job Opening Summary
Under the direction of the director, the CFHA Medical Group Site Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of assigned medial practice clinics.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversees/coordinates daily operation of assigned practices.
- Works/collaborates with physicians(s) to ensure that operations are efficient.
- Completes assigned work as scheduled in allotted time frame.
- Engages in departmental/hospital committees, PI projects, educational offerings to peers and mentoring/precepting of new team members.
- Attends staff meetings and completes required competencies and mandatory education as assigned.
- Conducts regular review of facilities for EOC surveys.
- Ensures staff complies with all UF CFH Polices, OSHA, HIPAA and other regulatory standards. Ensures that all licenses and permits are current and updates as needed.
- Ensures excellent patient/customer service as measured by departmental service scores. Conducts regular rounding on patients/customers and staff. Utilizes service recovery as necessary.
- Serves as a floater for clinic when needed to fill vacancies as needed and within scope of position.
- Engages staff and creates a positive team environment in the clinic. Is fair and consistent in policy application and corrective action.
- Well versed in CMS incentive payment programs to ensure compliance for employed physician practices.
- Provides staff education for all new employees and educates as needed for current employees.
- Tracks and submits list of supplies needed for outpatient clinics maintaining financial responsibilities of budgets.
- Completes other duties as requested/assigned.
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Certification or registration as a medical assistant preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to read, write in, speak and understand English.
