Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a 142 unit apartment community in the City of La Habra. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, property maintenance, and legal administrative tasks and extensive experience in multifamily property management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage tenant relations including handling inquiries, complaints, and emergencies
- Conduct property showings and lease signings
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs with vendors and contractors
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing regulations
- Perform data entry tasks related to tenant information and rent payments
- File and maintain accurate property records
- Negotiate leases and rental agreements
- Handle administrative tasks related to Section 8, and other housing programs
- Maintain office organization and efficiency
Experience:
- Previous experience in multifamily property management as an on-site manager
- Knowledge of property maintenance practices
- Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs is a plus
- Legal administrative experience preferred
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Proficiency in data entry and office software applications
