Kula Lodge & Restaurant is Hiring a Maintenance/Groundskeeper Near Kula, HI

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundskeeper/Maintenance person to join our team. As a Groundskeeper/Handyman, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of our outdoor and indoor spaces. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of garden and lawn care, handyman work, as well as the ability to operate power and hand tools. Electrician background a plus!

Duties:
- Perform general groundskeeping duties to ensure the cleanliness and attractiveness of the property
- Light garden maintenance
- Property maintenance
- Irrigate plants and lawns as needed
- Remove weeds, leaves, and other debris from outdoor areas
- Operate power tools
- Use hand tools to perform tasks
- Assist with landscape maintenance projects as directed (when needed- there is already a main landscaper)

-Basic handyman work such as plumbing, fixing broken items around the property including at the restaurant, lodges and retail shop, light installation of items

-Hosing down outdoor areas, maintaining a clean environment for customers

Requirements:
- Proven experience in groundskeeping or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of garden and lawn care techniques
- Familiarity with operating power tools such as lawnmowers and trimmers
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for various tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

Hourly pay based on experience. Benefits given with proper hours worked.

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated according to labor laws.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
