Eriks Chevrolet has an opening for a collision repair painter. We are a preferred high volume, top quality repair shop with an excellent opportunity for a quality auto body painter. We are Chevrolet Dealership Body Shop currently looking for a Water born products painter/refinisher. - Ability to work with development of skills in all areas of collision repair.
- Experience understanding all major insurance companies estimates, Mitchell estimating, Reynolds & Reynolds preferred.
- Ability to complete required training in a reasonable determined period of time, ASE certification is a plus.
- Ability to work in a changing fast paced environment that requires keeping the process on task.
- PPG paint system and a high volume authorized shop.
- Clean and modern facility
WORKING CONDITIONS: This is a physically demanding position. Will stand six to eight hours per shift. Will lift parts weighing up to 70 pounds. Will use hand and power tools. Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust exhaust fumes, paint and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
QUALIFICATIONS: Valid driver's license. Two years of experience as a vehicle body repair/painter I-Car, ASE, GM Certified Preferred. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Ability to identify damage per estimate. Working knowledge of all aspects of repairs for damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles. Working knowledge of all aspects of painting body parts and bodies of vehicles. Ability to use hand and power tools and other machinery safely.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
