Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our buildings and equipment, as well as managing a team of maintenance staff. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent organizational skills.
Duties:
- Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure the proper functioning of all facilities and equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any maintenance or repair needs
- Coordinate and oversee all facility repairs, renovations, and construction projects
- Manage a team of maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and warranties
- Monitor energy usage and implement strategies to improve efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for staff and visitors
- Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related issues and support their operational needs
- Develop and manage the facilities budget, including forecasting expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities
Requirements:
- Proven experience in facilities management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, high voltage electrical systems, low voltage systems, mechanical systems, logic controllers, and other building systems
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work order tracking and asset management
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with staff at all levels of the organization
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
